The town of Seward (Pop. 1,763 /2010 U.S. Census) lies in northwestern Schoharie County, New York, adjacent to the Town of Cobleskill, along State Routes 10, 145 and 165. The town sits along the eastern border of Otsego County, and contains nine hamlets: among these are the hamlets of Gardnersville on Route 10, and Seward on Route 165.
The Seward Town Court meets at the Schoharie County Highway Department on Lowe Road in Cobleskill, and is located just southeast of the Route 165 and County Route 33 (West Richmondville Road) intersection.
